OUR STORY
Owner Paula Lands opened TCE in February 2015 after over 30 years behind the chair. She always knew having her own place was her lifelong dream. Paula is still behind the chair 4 days a week bringing joy and beauty to every guest. Inside and out Paula is authentic to herself, the industry, and her business. She is a pastor's wife- and will gladly offer to pray for you any time of the day. She is a ‘Nana’ to 5 littles and will tell you all kinds of fun stories. She is a gardener, canner, florist, decorator, and chicken farmer. She wears many hats- but she is truly what makes TCE, TCE.
In 2016 Paula was joined by her daughter Allie Lands Vance. After completing her Bachelor's degree in Science and Psychology at Morehead State- she quickly found that business was her niche. You can find Allie at the salon nearly any day or any time of the week. She is usually the voice on the phone or the first face you see when you walk in. Aside from the desk work- Allie handles the behind-the-scenes work that pumps the flow of business. Outside of the salon, Allie is a mom to 3 girls, an avid reader, and a lover of all things pink. It’s no secret that Paula and Allie are an interesting combo- but at TCE they are our dynamic duo.

Amanda Brown
Amanda is a master cosmetologist- she has been with us since the day she graduated cosmetology school. She is originally from Morehead- a mama of 3 and cattle farmer. With nearly 7 years of service under her belt- her love for the industry has only grown. She offers many hair and spa services including colors, bleaches cuts, manicures, pedicures and facials. Her favorite services are lived-in colors and pedicures!

Cortney Willoughby
Cortney is a master cosmetologist originally from West Liberty, KY. She has been a stylist at TCE for over 7 years but has 12 years of experience behind the chair. Cortney is a mom to 1 and an avid animal lover. She offers all hair services including colors, bleaches, perms, cuts and extension installation. You can find Cortney at TCE on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Her favorite services to do are crazy fashion colors and high-texture cuts.

Mikaela Minor
Mikaela is a cosmetologist from Morehead, KY. She is new to TCE and looks forward to growing lifelong clients. Mikaela enjoys spending her free time outside. She loves to hang out at the lake and soaking in the sun. You can find Mikaela at TCE Tuesday-Saturday. Her favorite service is Specialty Blonding.

Cassie Bowersock
Cassie is a master cosmetologist originally from West Liberty, Ky. She has been a stylist at TCE for 7 years. She is a mom of one and loves true crime podcasts, Big Brother and all things celebrity gossip. She offers many hair services including colors, bleaching, perms and cuts as well as spa services including manicures, pedicures, facials and body waxing. Her favorite services are luxury blondes and waxing.

Caitlyn Sturgill
Caitlyn is a master cosmetologist from Olive Hill, KY. She has been a stylist with TCE since 2019- with her licensure for over 8 years. Caitlyn is a full time stylist and full time soccer mom. She loves all things Disney and history with fun origins. You can find Caitlyn at TCE Tuesday through Friday. Her favorite services are ‘look changing’ cuts and red colors.

Shonda is a master cosmetologist from Salt Lick, KY. She has been with TCE since 2017 but has nearly 20 years of experience under her belt. Shonda enjoys spending her free time outside. She loves to garden, ride ATVs and be in the sun. You can find Shonda at TCE on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Her favorite services are bob style haircuts and lived in colors.
